Meet Thomas Mellan! Thomas is a graduate of Dehesa Charter School, Class of 2013. Through Dehesa Charter School’s homeschool program, Thomas was able to sharpen his talents and musical skills while balancing a full academic schedule using a personalized learning plan, designed specifically for him.
He earned full 4-year scholarship to Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California. He is the youngest musician to play and record at Disney Concert Hall. One of his many accomplishments include a solo organ performance in July 2012 at St. Eustache in Paris, France.
Thomas is currently distributing a DVD via the LA Philharmonic store, the Organ Historical Society, and Kultur International Films. The DVD can be purchased online at any of these websites. Copies are also available for purchase at the LA Philharmonic Store in Disney Hall in LA. Here is the official trailer:
